Setups & Repairs

Have a bass that you just love but it won't stay in tune or you wish the action was lower? I have been performing expert setups and repairs for over 20 years. I can take that bass or guitar and get it playing and feeling fantastic!

A basic setup is $30 and includes the following:
- Check the nut grooves for proper depth and shape. Refile if necessary
- Check neck / truss rod adjusment for proper relief. Adjust if necessary
- Set action / string height (fret shaving and redressing may be necessary and if so is an additional $20-$50 depending on the condition of
  the frets)
- Set intonation

Other Repairs and Services Available:
- Fret shaving and dressing for the lowest possible action
- Complete refret
- Levelling and/or re-radiusing of fingerboard
- Crack repair
- Electronic repair for noisy pots, broken wires, etc.
- Install/replace strap locks
- Repair/replace broken pickguards
- Repair/replace cracked or broken nut
- Repair of broken or cracked necks or headstocks
- ???

Modifications

I can also perform minor to major customizations and modifications of your current instrument. Want to replace the pickups with some new ones? Want to add another pickup to your guitar or bass? Need a pop-out battery compartment for that active bass so you don't have to remove the pickguard to change the battery? How about a new bridge or set of tuners, a new nut, or maybe even a new body for your current bass or guitar?
